ESTA – the European association of abnormal road transport and mobile cranes – was founded in 1976 and since then has grown steadily.
The organisation represents national trade associations active in the logistics sector. Individual companies can become special members if there is no appropriate national association from their country.
ESTA also welcomes affiliate members from relevant manufacturers, clients, government departments, regulatory bodies, service companies and all organisations active in their markets.
In addition, ESTA has created the category of “Supporter” for companies that are members of their ESTA national associations but who want to become more directly involved in ESTA’s work.
Today, ESTA has active members in 25 countries and has established very close ties with the equipment manufacturers who supply the heavy transport and mobile crane industries, giving ESTA members the opportunity to voice ideas on future developments and technical issues.
