On September 26, 2023, the CEF Transport Call for Proposals opened. This Call makes € 7 billion available for projects which aim to build new or improve infrastructure in Europe.
The Call covers the Core and Comprehensive TEN-T networks for the following sectors:
- railways
- inland waterways
- maritime and inland ports
- road safety
- rail-road terminals
- multimodal logistics platforms
- multimodal passenger hubs
- smart and interoperable applications for transport
- safe and secure mobility
- infrastructure resilience
Of the € 7 billion available, €100 million will be available in the General envelope for safe and secure mobility and €150 million will be available in the Cohesion envelope for safe and secure mobility.
