ESPORG Member Travel Centers of Europe continues working on their CEF-funded project to build a safe and secure parking area in Ortisoara, Romania. The works are expected to be completed in mid-October.
ESPORG member Travel Centers of Europe is deploying a safe and secure parking area for trucks in Ortisoara (Romania), near the A1 motorway, only 450m off the Seceani A1 exit.
With the goal of meeting the EU Platinum standard for safe and secure truck parking areas, the site will provide all kind of services for drivers including toilets, showers, laundry with dryers, as well as two petrol stations for both cars and commercial vehicles. It will further include restaurants, a mini market, fast truck service shop, truck wash and hotel facilities.
The parking area will deliver 86 safe and secure truck parking spaces, actively contributing to the improvement of overall working conditions for large vehicle drivers.
