EU Transport Ministers met last month in Spain to sign the Barcelona Declaration, committing to accessible, affordable, and equitable mobility. The document focuses on continuing and consolidating the strategy begun by the European Green Deal and Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy as well as focusing on integrating and adapting mobility according to regional conditions and addressing transport safety, especially road safety and the inclusion of gender and equality into transport policy design.
