ESPORG members Trade Trans Combi and Bivak recently celebrated the successful conclusion of a ground-breaking project that reaches far beyond their local impact and resonates throughout Europe.
Co-funded by the European Union under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) program, “SecureNetwork” is led by Trade Trans Combi Romania and by Bivak KTF and focuses on enhancing safety and security for road transport along the Romania – Hungary – Western Europe route.
Its mission focuses on boosting accessibility, enhancing connectivity, closing infrastructure gaps, and raising the bar for service quality in the haulage industry.
SecureNetwork has achieved impressive milestones and has contributed to
- the set-up of a new gold-level SSTPA with 170 parking spaces at Kiskunfelegyhaza, situated along the Hungarian motorway M5;
- the set-up of a new gold-level SSTPA with 180 parking spaces at Curtici, conveniently located near the Romanian motorway E 671;
- the upgrade of an existing SSTPA at Nagykanizsa on the Hungarian motorway M7 has been upgraded, expanding its capacity from 25 to 35 parking spaces, meeting the bronze level of the Standard;
- the upgrade of an existing SSTPA at Hatvan, on the Hungarian motorway M3, now boasts 80 parking spaces at the silver level of the Standard, up from the previous 60.
