The Swedish-based Green Stop already operates around 20 projects in Sweden and is expanding its reach with 10 new projects to build safe and secure parking areas along the highways of Sweden and Denmark.

“In the synergy of secure parking and e-truck charging, a perfect match unfolds.”
About Green Stop
Founded in 2022, Green Stop (Green Stop Charging Development Europe) is a fairly new green tech company with extensive knowledge in renewable energy. The Green Stop business model is built on two pillars: solar energy and charging stations. The idea is that providing secure parking combined with charging stations ensure that the energy production can happen at the charging location. The energy is provided by green energy sources such as solar farms.
While Green Stop has a mission to create and distribute green energy, they also take it a step further: in line with the EU’s Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) policy which foresees large-scale expansion of charging infrastructure along key motorways and road, Green Stop has taken it upon themselves to help implement the goals of the policy to have fast charging stations every 60 km along the TEN-T network for both light and heavy traffic.
Logistics and Green Stop
The transport sector unfortunately boasts one of the largest emissions of greenhouse gases and this challenge is one of the motivators behind Green Stop to work tirelessly within the logistics sector.
Specialist Stefan Arbin and CEO Otto Werneskog are convinced that secure parking and e-mobility are growing trends in the logistic business as a whole. They are ready to aid in the transition of e-mobility within the logistics sector and are actively looking for expansion within new markets in Europe. This is one of the reasons Green Stop is eager to collaborate with organisations like the European Secure Parking Organisation (ESPORG) to find new projects, affect policy and provide green energy where possible.

“In the synergy of secure parking and e-truck charging, a perfect match unfolds. With eager investors ready to embark on our new projects along central Europe’s main network corridors, the evolution of e-mobility transcends the ordinary. It’s not just about upgrading transportation; it’s about setting a new standard for the driver, covering everything from top-notch service to eco-friendly solutions and robust security. In this era of a new generation of drivers with heightened demands for their work environment, every aspect is considered, shaping the future of mobility with excellence.”

Ongoing Projects
A Truckstop in Klevshult in Vaggeryd Municipality along higway E4 is one of the current ongoing Green Stop projects. There, the company leases the land and will build next to the existing Truck Stop. There will be room for approx. 50 trucks for both quick charging and overnight charging. This is just one of the examples of many projects the green tech company has taken on.
