DEKRA Reaches Agreement with ESPORG

Let’s certify!

Thanks to an updated agreement with DEKRA, all ESPORG members will be able to benefit from a special rate on audits for their safe and secure parking areas.

On December 2022, the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, through the Secretary of State for Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, notified the entry into force of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1012 of the Commission and the need to obtain the corresponding certification of parking areas as Safe and Secure Parking Areas.

The Safe and Secure Truck Parking Areas (SSTPA) regulations (the EU-Parking Standard) allow these types of spaces to be regularized and standardized according to the requirements of capacity, security and other aspects that they must have to be practical and as comfortable as possible for all drivers, especially for professional transporters.

With the introduction of this standard, parking areas will ensure that they have security requirements in terms of physical infrastructure, technology and procedures, in addition to service requirements for personal hygiene, communication, food services, security, multilingual information and other services.
