DELTA PARK Truck Secure Parking Gains Gold !

The first secure truck parking operated by TIP has achieved the Gold-level of the EU-Parking Standard.

 Delta Park Truck Secure Parking is located 30 km south of Lille, at the junction of the A1 / E17 and the A21. With more than 25,000 trucks passing through the area on a daily basis, it is the busiest road hub in Europe.

The site uses the latest technologies to guarantee the safety of goods and drivers: 24/7 guarding, barbed wire fencing, PTZ camera, thermal control of truck and pedestrian access, and more. In addition, at DELTA TRUCK Park, drivers will find a wide range of services to enable them to rest in the best possible conditions.

The recently-completed works have enabled the parking area to add 68 new parking spaces, for a total of 213, and to further improve their welcoming conditions!

Delta Park Truck Secure Parking offers a set of services allowing the drivers to rest in the best conditions of comfort which are also available 24/7: free showers, free Wi-Fi, laundry and snacks. A restaurant located at the entrance of the parking completes this offer of services. In case of technical problems on a road assembly (mechanical or body maintenance) it is possible to access:

– 213 secure truck parking spaces

– A rest area for drivers with wifi, toilets, showers, etc.

In the event of a technical problem on a truck, drivers can access :

– On-site TIP Group;s workshop.

– Tire services, available 24 hours a day.

Continuous Improvement

In 2023, the site was extended from 146 to 213 parking slots. The extension of the site was also an opportunity to add new services and upgrade the existing ones to adjust to the increase number of drivers :  

–       A larger and more welcoming reception area for drivers

–       Larger sanitary facilities in the lounge for men and women,

–       new sanitary facilities added at each end of the parking lot, which is imperative to better accommodate additional drivers!
