ESPORG member KRAVAG Truck Parking will fill the gap by offering parking in unused space on company sites.

KRAVAG Truck Parking is providing a solution to the lack of truck parking spaces by creating new parking options throughout Germany, especially on company sites that are temporarily unused. These secure and bookable parking spaces ensure that drivers can relax after work away from the noisy highway. A positive side effect: not only the drivers stay overnight safely, but also the vehicle and its load.

Several hundred companies already allow their drivers to park in the network. The success is not only due to the cooperative approach, which is particularly appealing to medium-sized transport and forwarding companies, but also to the ease with which locations can be accessed. This is because KRAVAG Truck Parking enables access to sites via a specially developed, smart access technology – which is not only reliable, but also inexpensive and easy to install. 

Booking these parking spaces is also very easy: Either dispatchers book the parking spaces for the drivers for the end of the day’s tour on their computer, or the drivers book them themselves via the KRAVAG Truck Parking app. In both cases, the participating company pays the parking fees, which in most cases are a very reasonable 8 EUR/day.

KRAVAG Truck Parking offers truck drivers of all participating forwarding companies reliably plannable truck parking spaces throughout Germany (even if they are not insured by KRAVAG). Truck parking spaces can either be conveniently booked by the driver via the app or by the dispatcher via the web app. Companies can also use KRAVAG Truck Parking to offer free spaces on their premises for rent as truck parking spaces – including insurance cover.
