On September 30, 2024, ESPORG hosted an online workshop dedicated to Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) funding following the opening of the CEF 2 Transport Call on September 24th.
Over 100 participants joined CINEA, DG MOVE and ESPORG to learn all about the ins and outs of the CEF 2 Transport Call. Inès Maillart, from Unit C1-Road Transport, DG MOVE, European Commission, presented the EU Standards for safe and secure parking areas, which are a requirement for all parking projects applying for CEF funding. Martin Bouska, from CINEA, presented the recent CEF 2 Transport Call, in particular CEF funding for safe and secure parking infrastructure, including some important lessons from previous years. Finally, Frédéric Maas from ESPORG presented some practical tips and tricks for those who wish to apply in this round of funding.
