The Stakeholder Symposium
The ZEFES Stakeholder Symposium included several key stakeholders in the logistics industry and aimed to tackle challenges in the industry through engaging discussions in several dynamic sessions: Session 1: Weight & Dimensions, Session 2: Energy Infrastructure, Session 3: Business Model, Session 4: Keynote Speeches and Session 5: World Café.
ESPORG General Manager, Dirk Penasse joined the second session focused on energy infrastructure alongside industry experts: Jason Grim from Air Products (online), Alberto Moral Aspas from Air Products, Luis Hurtado from Milence, and Alexandre Mc Craw from Hitach. The session was moderated by Stefanie Van Damme from ALICE.

In his presentation, Penasse highlighted the crucial role of Safe & Secure Parking Areas (SSPAs) in meeting 2025-2030 AFIR targets. Key points included developing voluntary green parking standards (which is currently in progress), assisting in creating a business plan template for parking areas, establishing a platform for learning and sharing best practices and providing updates on regulatory obligations, including solar panel requirements for SSPAs in France.
