Honouring a Legacy: Frank Van Nueten, 15 Years Dedicated to Transport Progress and Well-Being

After 15 years of dedicated leadership, Frank Van Nueten will retire as CEO of TVM Belgium on 1 October, marking the close of a remarkable chapter in the Belgian transport insurance sector. Under his leadership, TVM Belgium transformed from a niche player into one of the most respected names in the industry.

From Niche Player to Market Leader

When Frank joined TVM Belgium in 2010, the company faced significant challenges, with a small team and limited product offering. Through strategic vision and perseverance, he oversaw a period of exceptional growth: staff numbers rose from 30 to 90, turnover increased fivefold to €125 million, and TVM Belgium established itself as the reference insurer for transport and logistics in Belgium.

Visionary and People-Oriented Leadership

Frank’s leadership combined clear strategic direction with a strong focus on people. Known for his accessibility and commitment to building trust, he strengthened relationships with colleagues, brokers, and partners alike. His initiatives, including the launch of TVM Solutions and collaborations with European organisations such as ESPORG, reflected his conviction that insurance should extend beyond coverage — promoting safety, prevention, and driver well-being across Europe.

As Frank emphasised:
